Both wear layered loose garments with draped fabric and turbans on their heads. Each man holds a long, vertical object that reaches near the top of the image. The man on the left stands with his body turned slightly toward the other, one hand resting near his waist and the other gripping his object, and he has visible long hair beneath his turban. The man on the right stands with a relaxed posture, one arm bent and resting across his torso while the other hand holds his object; he has a beard and his clothing includes a wrapped outer garment and loose trousers. The lower portion of the photograph shows their footwear and the base of the objects they hold, while below the photograph is a bordered caption area separated from the image.
