(South side), Interior with employees of the machine factory of Gebroeders Stork & Co, page, photomechanical print, number: 'No. 8.', Hengelo (Overijssel), maker: Emrik & Binger, Haarlem, c. 1884 - in or before 1894, photographer, paper, collotype, photogravure, height 154 mm x width 214 mm, factory-building, factory-interior, machine shop, A large industrial interior with high windows and exposed beams fills the scene, showing numerous metal machines, gears, chains, pulleys, and workbenches arranged across the floor and along raised platforms; a group of men in work clothes stand and sit among the equipment, some near a large circular gear-like wheel on the right and others by heavy blocks and machine parts in the center and left; hanging chains descend from the ceiling and scaffold-like wooden and metal structures frame the space, while scattered tools, stacked plates, and mechanical components lie on tables and the floor, and a balcony with railings runs across the back where additional figures and machinery are visible through the tall arched windows.
