The upper illustration shows a central seated woman in draped clothing holding an infant, surrounded by standing and kneeling figures, with a hovering angelic or winged figure above and architectural elements at the sides. The lower illustration shows a seated woman holding a child while multiple figures kneel and reach toward the child, with more standing figures at the edges and a rough interior setting suggested behind them. The surrounding paper is light with subtle age spots and small printed marks near the edges.
