In front of the doorway, several figures face the window: a tall figure in a long cloak and broad-brimmed hat holds a brass instrument, an older man in a cloak and hat stands beside him holding a bowl, another man in dark clothing holds a violin, and a younger boy in a vest and short trousers stands with his back to the viewer holding a lantern. On the right, a musician with a strap across his back leans on a large stringed instrument while another person in a cloak and cap stands nearby. A hat lies on the ground in front of the group and foliage and architectural details frame the scene.
