In the foreground a man stands wearing loose clothing and a wide belt, holding a small child by the hand while a woman beside him cradles another child and leans on his arm. Around them are seated and kneeling figures including an older woman with a headscarf looking upward, a child reaching toward the standing man, and other adults and children in varied poses of rest or attention. To the left two figures stand near the edge looking outward with one pointing, and to the right additional people cluster near a cart partially visible against a background of trees. The overall scene contains detailed clothing folds, varied facial expressions, and textured rocks and foliage rendered in soft shading.
