On the left, a vertical stack of cylindrical components sits beside a large flywheel and belt assembly, with angled support beams leaning against them. In the center, a raised platform with a domed vessel and a curved staircase leading up to it is visible, with hanging cables and a suspended light fixture above. Around the floor are multiple engines, pumps, and mechanical linkages mounted on bases and short pedestals, connected by pipes and belts. On the right, tall vertical columns and a spiraled column structure stand near a funnel-shaped machine and more wheeled gear housings. The space is sectioned by short posts connected with ropes, and tall windows along the right wall cast light into the room. The overall scene is monochrome with strong contrasts and detailed textures on the equipment and wooden beams.
