To the right a partially nude figure leans against an ornate column, one arm raised holding a wreath and fabric billowing around the torso. Between them in the background an ornate archway and architectural façade are visible. The lower section depicts a crowd of workers from behind, many raising hats and tools, with visible shovels and mallets and clothing typical of manual labor. The image is bordered and set against a light background with a column of printed text occupying the right side of the page.
