In the foreground there are rounded, mound-like rock formations with textured surfaces and sparse vegetation on top. Small groups of people are present across the scene: a pair standing and gesturing near the left foreground, a couple walking together near the center-right, and several figures perched and standing on the highest mound, one of whom reaches out to another. Low hills and distant structures form the middle ground, and there is a ruined wall or building fragment on the right with rough masonry and plants along its top edge. The ground is shaded with fine lines indicating flat terrain and patches of grass, and the whole scene is framed by a thin double-lined border.
