Tall masts, rigging, and furled sails rise behind the group, and a large cannon is visible at the left edge of the deck. In the sky above and behind the ship there are clouds and smoke, and flaming spherical objects with trailing sparks are shown in midair heading toward the deck. The scene is framed by a decorative border and a blank margin surrounding the image.
