Incident between a Jew and a Keeshond, 1789, who, in order to get to His Master, dragged the Israelite through the Haarlemmer Vaart. 1789, print, Landscape with a carriage by the Haarlemmertrekvaart. A Keeshond drags a Jew, to whom the dog had been sold, through the water to the other side and back to his former master. The - fictional? - incident should probably be interpreted as a political analogy.
