Several standing figures wear period clothing with ruffs and hats, and one seated figure reclines on a raised platform while others attend. A tall pole supports the tent and a figure holds a staff or spear nearby. Trees and foliage frame the background with textured sky lines, and in the foreground there are rocks and small plants at the edge of the scene.
