On this sheet the legend to the central map, in Latin., printmaker, France, paper, engraving, height 568 mm, width 163 mm, La Rochelle, Period, 1627 - 1628, A tall vertical printed page with dense columns of handwritten-style text in a serif font, topped by a larger heading in capital letters; the text is arranged in two main narrow columns with short lines and occasional punctuation, each column separated by a faint central margin; the paper shows slight discoloration and texture variations, with darker printed decorative borders along the left and right edges; near the bottom there is a small decorative engraved illustration showing a pair of rolled scroll ends and a pointed central flourish, all in fine cross-hatched engraving style; the overall layout is formal and typographic, with even line spacing and small raised dots or ink imperfections scattered across the surface.
