In the middle foreground two figures stand beside a horse, one pointing outward while the other faces forward, both wearing simple garments. Near them several small seated or crouching figures cluster under a tree. To the right a standing figure holds a long pole or staff, with additional figures grouped nearby. On the left a stone structure with an arched opening and textured walls sits partially hidden by vegetation, and a curved archway or tunnel appears lower down. The sky area is hatched with parallel lines and the ground is rendered with short horizontal and curved etching strokes. The overall scene is framed by a faint rectangular border.
