To the left a partially nude male figure stands on a shell-like object in water, holding a trident and a large draped cloth, with sea creatures and rippling waves beneath him. To the right two seated nude figures embrace at the water’s edge near a small waterfall and trees, with a distant cluster of buildings on the horizon. The scene is rendered in fine engraved lines with repetitive hatching and shading across the figures, clouds, water, and landscape.
