Behind them are architectural elements including a round column, a curved doorway, and a low wall, while to the right there are staggered brick ledges and a tall textured wall. In the background there are trees and distant buildings with turreted and domed roofs, and plants and foliage fill spaces near the foreground and midground. The image is rendered in fine black and white linework with crosshatching and detailed shading.
