According to a note on the verso, the print was on p. 216 from this album., herding, herdsman, herdswoman, shepherd, shepherdess, cowherd, (story of) Diana (Artemis), A detailed monochrome engraving shows a wooded landscape with large trees and dense foliage filling the upper area, branches and leaves rendered with fine lines. In the middle ground a group of figures in classical dress stand and sit among animals; one woman in a flowing garment stands with a hand extended toward another figure who raises a horn to their mouth, while a crouching woman tends a dog and another kneels beside a seated figure holding a staff. Several cows and a goat are present nearby, some lying down and others standing. In the background more seated figures appear on a grassy rise, one carrying a basket on their head, and distant hills and a cloudy sky form the far backdrop. At the foreground edge a quiver and horn lie on the ground among low plants and rocks.
