Behind them, a smaller figure stands on a slope holding an object that extends outward. The landscape includes a winding shoreline or river, rolling hills, clusters of buildings and ruins on both sides of the water, and terraced or rocky slopes covered with vertical vegetation-like marks. The sky is filled with fine etched lines radiating downward from an upper corner, and the entire scene is rendered in fine black-and-white linework on a textured paper.
