Later reissued as: Study print, Etudes gravées., Person, Daniël Dupré, Christiaan Welmeer, Two seated men rendered in a fine line drawing, both shown from the chest up against a blank background; the man on the left has short tousled hair, a high-collared coat with visible buttons and a scarf or cravat around his neck, and he rests one arm on a chair back, his expression neutral; the man on the right has wavy hair combed back, a double-breasted coat with a high collar and a cravat, and he faces slightly toward the viewer with a calm expression, the shading and hatching used to model facial features and clothing folds.
