The second vignette shows three men in coats standing together in an interior with a high-backed chair and paneled walls as two of them exchange an object. In the third vignette two men in uniformed coats face each other beside a table, one extending a small garment while a framed oval hangs on the wall behind them. The fourth vignette depicts an outdoor scene under bare trees with two men in simple clothing standing beside a military-dressed man who gestures toward them, a building and fence visible in the background. In the fifth vignette a woman in a modest dress stands with hands together before a table where a seated man and a second seated figure converse in a furnished room with framed oval portrait and wall decoration. The sixth vignette shows a seated officer in uniform gesturing toward a standing man in a cloak in an interior with upholstered furniture and paintings on the wall. Each vignette has a narrow caption panel beneath it.
