This series comprises virtually the artist's complete oeuvre and consists of 48 prints, mainly designs for ceilings., the Judgment of Paris (Mercury present), sitting or standing on clouds, A circular pen-and-ink drawing shows four classical figures seated on stylized clouds within a round frame; on the left a partially draped female reclining figure holds a small child who reaches toward her face, the woman looking outward with loose hair and flowing garments; to their right a robed male figure wearing a winged cap leans back and raises a staff topped by a small winged object, his clothing depicted with folds and hatching; on the far right a muscular, partially draped male turns toward the group while gripping a long staff held upright, his torso and arm shaded with crosshatching and drapery falling behind him; the clouds beneath them are rendered with curved hatch lines and the entire scene is composed of fine engraved lines and shading.
