The table on the left is a darker wood with a rectangular top bordered by an ornate pierced gallery and turned corner posts, a decorative inlay on the top surface, a frieze with an inlaid foliate motif, a funnel-shaped apron beneath the box, and spiral-turned legs joined by a twisted stretcher and ending in outward-curved feet with small brass caps. The table on the right is a lighter wood with a rectangular recessed top, a plain frieze with subtle woodgrain patterning, a sloped recess beneath the box, spiral-turned legs connected by a twisted stretcher and ending in outward-curved bracket feet.
