Many figures wear long dark garments and white head coverings, while others wear dark suits and hats. Trees with dense foliage flank the scene on both sides. Some people are seated on the platform while others stand or walk nearby. The ground in front of the platform appears lighter and open. The photograph has a pale border around it.
