Terraced stone balustrades rise behind the pool with symmetrically placed conical shrubs and paved walkways leading to an elevated circular platform with a low railing. More visitors are depicted on the terraces and along the axial paths, which extend into a tree-lined avenue framed by dense rows of trees on both sides. The sky above has fine horizontal hatch shading, and there are groups of people in period clothing scattered throughout the scene, with some figures shown in pairs or small gatherings near benches and stairways. The image has a wide pale border around the engraving.
