A large arched opening leads to a raised focal area containing an intricately carved canopy or altar-like structure with vertical decorative elements and an elaborate frontal panel, and the floor in front is open and unobstructed. The image is monochrome, showing strong contrasts between the dark ceiling and lighter stonework, and the scene is symmetrical with repeated architectural details along both sides.
