The central painted panel shows a figure on a cross with an expressive posture, a radiant circular shape to one side and a smaller crescent shape on the other, and several robed figures gathered at the base of the cross in varied standing and kneeling poses. The frame displays corner and side ornamental scrolls, a decorative band above the painted panel with repeated motifs, and a lower section with curved carved elements and a small projecting central feature. The image is monochrome with a high-contrast finish and a plain darker background surrounding the framed composition.
