In the foreground are gardens and orchards with small pathways and low walls, and a road running along the bottom edge. Clustered houses with pitched roofs fill the middle ground, interspersed with taller buildings and rows of trees. A cylindrical stone tower with a battlemented top stands near the river, and a large stone church with twin tall spires and ornate façades rises above surrounding buildings on the right side. Small boats are visible on the river, and the sky above is cloudy.
