On either side of the lower steps are lamp posts and stone balusters, and a fountain basin with sculpted elements sits at the base of the stairs, with a small jet of water visible. Tented kiosks with decorative canopies stand near the buildings at the bottom of the steps, and shuttered windows and ornate window surrounds are visible on the flanking facades. The image has a sepia tone and shows architectural details such as cornices, pilasters, and worn stone surfaces.
