The drum shows segmented reinforcement bands and is supported by padded cradle blocks at each end, with a central shaft and bearing assembly projecting through the frame. The frame includes vertical and horizontal beams with bolted metal plates and an adjustable crossbar mechanism, and a curved sheet of metal rests near the drum's exposed end.
