Two laborers, sketchbook page, Outside, by a sloping cliff stone wall, perhaps the corner of a fortress wall, stand two young men. The man on the left wears a folded loincloth (veshti, lungi) reaching to his knees; a shawl (chadar) hangs over his right shoulder and is also wrapped around his waist and tucked in at the waist. The man on the right leans his back against the sloping wall. He has drawn up his left leg with his foot against the wall and his knee forward. He wears a loincloth (veshti, lungi) reaching to his knees, and a cloth (chadar) over his left shoulder. Both men are from South India and are employed in Colombo for the reconstruction.
