Above the arch is a stone entablature with molded cornice and ornamental corbels, and a carved plaque set into the brickwork between the corbels. To the right of the arch a stone pilaster with scroll-like molding and bead detailing supports the entablature. A protruding metal bell-shaped object is mounted on the wall above one of the lighter blocks. Below the arch a window with divided panes is partially visible through the opening, and bare branches extend across part of the view. The image is mounted on a dark matte.
