Gable stone 1631', Delft, c. 1900 - c. 1904, photographer, paper, pasteboard, gelatin silver print, height 157 mm x width 117 mm, gate, entrance, Oude Delft, A tall arched wooden door set into a stone and brick facade flanked by two tall multi-pane windows, the doorway framed by molded stone with decorative carved elements above including a small ornate plaque and a vertical stone finial, weathered bricks and lighter stone bands surrounding the opening, worn stone steps and a cobbled street in front, and subtle mottling and stains on the lower wall surfaces.
