The front-facing soldier wears white trousers and black gaiters over his lower legs, white gloves, and a light blue waistcoat visible beneath his coat, while the rear-facing soldier wears darker trousers and carries a black rectangular pouch at his hip along with a sheathed sword and a strap with decorative tassels. The ground beneath them shows textured grass and soil, and the background is a plain light field.
