The top strip depicts rolling hills, clusters of trees and groves, fenced fields, a river or stream winding through the terrain, scattered buildings including houses and barns, and small groups of human figures walking near tree-lined paths. The lower larger area shows a stylized plan of fields and enclosures with hedged or raised mounds, geometric garden plots, meandering roads and streams, isolated buildings and farmsteads, and numerous small tree symbols arranged in rows and clusters. In the right foreground a group of figures on foot and on horseback gather beneath tall trees, with plumes of smoke or mist rising nearby and more trees forming a dense stand along the scene edge. The entire image is framed by a narrow plain border and executed with delicate hatching and stippling to indicate texture and shading.
