The structure features rows of columns, pilasters, arched windows, decorative niches, and sculptural statues along the roofline. The sky above is filled with fine horizontal hatching and cloud shapes. In the foreground a wide open plaza has tiny groups of walking figures and a horse-drawn carriage. To the sides and in the background are smaller buildings, trees, and a distant landscape rendered with delicate linework. The image is framed by a thin border and has decorative engraving marks along the margins.
