Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, university building, college, Collegio Romano, A wide architectural engraving shows a large rectangular building with a detailed façade, rows of windows, decorative doorways with pediments, a central section topped by a small domed cupola and balustrade, and a pitched roof with ornamental elements. The sky above contains shaded clouds and horizontal linework. In the foreground a paved open area contains groups of people in period clothing walking and standing, some in small clusters and others in pairs, and a horse-drawn carriage with a driver and coachman moving across the scene. The left side of the building features a carriage near an entrance and steps leading up to doorways, while the right side shows an extended wing with evenly spaced windows and a secondary ornate entrance. The image is framed by a thin rectangular border.
