Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, hôtel, i.e. small palace in city, inner court of palace or 'hôtel', Palazzo Montecitorio, A large engraved architectural scene shows a grand courtyard surrounded by multi-story buildings with rows of arched openings and rectangular windows, a colonnaded facade along one side, and a curved wing with decorative niches containing statues. The foreground features a horse-drawn carriage and several groups of people standing and walking on the paved courtyard, while another group appears near a circular fountain with sculptural elements at the far right. The sky above is filled with hatched shading and stylized clouds, and small rooftop structures and balustrades line the tops of the surrounding buildings.
