Together with four other series, it forms the large series: 'Il nuovo teatro di Roma moderna'., city-view, and landscape with man-made constructions, hotel, i.e. small palace in city, Palazzo Altieri, A wide engraving of a large, multi-story classical building with a symmetrical façade featuring rows of rectangular windows framed by decorative lintels and pilasters, a central ornate entrance with sculptural detailing above it, a balustraded cornice beneath a tiled roof punctuated by chimneys and small rooftop structures, and a raised central pavilion with additional decorative elements; in front of the building an open paved square contains small groups of walking figures, a horse-drawn carriage with horses, and a pair of mounted riders, while the sky above is filled with finely hatched horizontal lines and a few flying birds.
