Height 32.5 cm, width 22.5 cm., A marbled paper pattern fills the surface with swirling, featherlike shapes and curving streaks. The colors visible include muted pinks and reds, pale blues, soft yellows, beige, cream, and dark gray or black accents. The pattern shows flowing, organic forms with teardrop and plume motifs, areas of fine speckling, and layered washes of color that blend into one another. Along one edge there is a narrow vertical strip of a lighter cream or off-white material contrasting with the marbled field, and a thin margin of pale gray surrounds the outer border.
