Obverse: bust of Chosroes II right, wearing a crown decorated with two wings, a crescent and a star; left of the bust a star, right a star in a crescent; beads on the neck and a central triangle of three dots; behind the crown two ribbons; double pearl border; below and on both sides beyond the border a crescent with a star; Pahlavi legend. Reverse: fire altar; left of the altar the ruler facing forward with a sword in his hand; right of the altar a priest facing forward holding a sword; top left a star, top right a crescent; signs/monograms on both sides; triple pearl border; beyond it four crescents with stars; Pahlavi legend. Sassanid art; Sassanid Kingdom; Iran (Persia); dated 590–628. Coin: diameter 24.0–25.0 mm, weight 2.25 g.
