Légende
Denarius of Marcus Aurelius (121–180, Roman emperor 161–180), issued posthumously for Faustina the Younger (c. 130–176, Roman empress 161–176). Obverse: Bust of Faustina II in drapery facing right, inscribed DIVA FAVSTINA PIA. Reverse: Aeternitas (personification) in a veil stands frontally, turns her head left, lifts a fold of the veil with her right hand and holds a torch in her left; inscribed AETERNITAS. After 176, Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin: silver denarius; diameter ca. 17.5–18.0 mm, weight 2.65 g, axis 180°.
