Reverse: Eagle stands on an altar decorated with a garland to the right, turns its head to the left, inscription CONSECRATIO all around, fields marked SC. Issuer: Commodus (posthumous issue for Marcus Aurelius). Materials/style: Roman coin, bronze; Roman Imperial iconography (altars, eagles). Date/period: Roman Empire (27 BCE–476 CE). Dimensions: diameter 31.5 mm, weight 26.35 g, axis 15°.
