Sestertius, Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180), issuer. Obverse: Head of Marcus Aurelius in a laurel wreath facing right, inscription M ANTONINVS - AVG TR P XXIX. Reverse: Annona standing left; in her right hand she holds ears of corn above a container (modius) filled with ears of corn, in her left hand a cornucopia, inscription IMP VII - COS III, control marks S - C in the fields. Date: 174–175. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin; diameters 30.0 mm and 32.0 mm, weight 32.3 g, axis 165°.
