Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180). Obverse: head of Marcus Aurelius with laurel wreath facing right, inscription 'M ANTONINVS - AVG, RP XXV' all around. Reverse: Victoria stands half-naked to the right, fastening a shield inscribed 'VIC GER' to a tree with her left hand; inscriptions 'IMP VI - COS, I' all around, in SC fields. Date: 170–171. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin; diameter 29.5–30.0 mm, weight 24.85 g, axis 0°.
