Denarius, Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180) (issuer). Obverse: Head of Marcus Aurelius with laurel wreath to the right, inscription 'NT NINVS AVG' (sic). Reverse: Armenia personified—short robe, trousers, pointed cap—seated left, supporting her head with her right hand, left hand resting on a bow and quiver; shield and vexillum in front; inscription 'PM TR P XVIII IMP II COS III' and in section 'ARMEN.' Date: 163–164. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin; diameter 17.0 mm, weight 3.24 g, axis 180°.
