Sestertius of Marcus Aurelius (121–180; Roman emperor 161–180), issued under Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161). Obverse: Head of Marcus Aurelius bare, facing right, inscribed AVRELIVS - CAES AVG PII F. Reverse: Virtus stands right with left foot on a fallen helmet, holding a spear pointed down in his right hand and a parade dagger (parazonium) in his left; inscribed TR, T XIII - COS II and in SC fields. Dated 158–159. Roman Empire, Rome. Coin: diameter 31.0–31.5 mm, weight 21.95 g, axis 330°.
