Obverse: head of young Marcus Aurelius without a covering, drapery on the left shoulder; legend AVRELIVS CAESAR ANTO NINI AVG PII FIL. Reverse: Virtus stands left with his foot on a helmet, holding a parade dagger (parazonium) in his right hand and a spear with the head downwards in his left; legend TR POT VI COS II; field marks VIR TVS / SC. Iconography: personification Virtus, spears, helmets, parazonium. Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin: diameter 30.5–32.5 mm, weight 24.70 g, axis 180°.
