Reverse: Minerva stands left, holds an owl in her outstretched right hand, rests her left hand on a shield and spear; inscription 'R·OT·VIIII·COS·II' (R OT VIIII COS II). Roman deities; iconography: Marcus Aurelius (heir to the throne), Minerva, owls, shields, spears, paludamentum. Date: 154–155. Culture/place: Roman Empire, Rome. Object type: coin (denarius).
