Denarius, Antoninus Pius (86–161; Roman emperor 138–161), issuer. Obverse: Bust of Faustina I in drapery facing right, inscription DIVA AVG - FAVSTINA around. Reverse: Two figures shaking hands — Antoninus Pius standing left turned right holding a scroll, and Faustina I standing right turned left in a veil holding a scepter, inscription CONC - OR - DIAE around. Posthumous issue of Faustina the Elder (98–141; Roman empress 138–141). Iconography: sceptres, veils, scrolls. After 141, Roman Empire (27 BC–476), Rome. Coin; diameter 17.5–18.0 mm, weight 3.55 g, axis 195°.
