Denarius of Faustina the Elder (98–141), wife of Antoninus Pius (emperor 138–161), issued under Antoninus Pius. Obverse: draped bust of Faustina I facing right, inscription VSTIN-AVGVSTA. Reverse: throne of Juno (pulvinar) covered with drapery; beneath stands a peacock with tail spread; a scepter rests on the left; inscription IV,ONI-REGINA. Date: 139–141. Roman Empire, Rome. Coin: diameter 16.0–18.0 mm, weight 3.32 g, axis 180°.
