Obverse: head of Antoninus Pius, bare, draped on left shoulder, facing right, inscription DIVVS • ANTONINVS. Reverse: four-tiered funeral pyre decorated with garlands and statues; on top a quadriga carried by the emperor, inscription CONSECRAT and SC. Iconography: Antoninus Pius, funeral pyre, quadrigae, garlands, statues. After 161 CE, Roman Empire (Rome).
